I am a business who call Lisa Smith at Express about a yard sign. She was polite but had no suggestions for sign size. She did take my credit card number quickly though. The designer, a male, made a couple of possible examples which I felt were not compelling. He was quick to warn us that he did charge for his time in design. I then called to say that I wanted to cancel the order as I was just to busy to try to muddle through a lengthy design process right now.
The male, J. then said I had to pay him 90.00 for his time (I think around an hour time after we emailed him a layout and logo for him to size). He also said he had already ordered the aluminum which I had to pay for. He did credit the rest back to my account. I ended up paying 200.00 for this exercise in futility. Wondering if he's never going to make another sign and thus use the aluminum for another client? Poor way to conduct business. B.H.
