I walked in off the street and asked for a quote on a small building sign. Although I came in unannounced, they were more than willing to connect me to the right folks to talk about the sign. Although I had been quoted slightly cheaper price elsewhere, Golden Gate's flexibility and focus on detail sold me almost instantly. They even gave me a tour of their on-premises shop. I'm happy to support the locals.

We needed an new monument sign. I searched online and found Golden Gate Sign company and on their website it said "Free Estimate". So I contacted them for an estimate. They were quick to get me an appointment. David Staub called me the day before our appointment to confirm our appointment. He showed up on time to meet me at the site. However, he spent the first 10 minutes to talk to someone on the phone while I stood there waiting.
Then he talked to me for few minutes and answered his cellphone again, saying that phone call was very important. So I stayed there and waited for another 10 minutes or so. When he finally had the time to talk me, I explained what we needed and asked when I would received the estimate. He said he wouldn't give me an estimate unless we have agreed to hire them first, otherwise it would be a waste of his time. Well, I have definitely wasted his time already, as well as mine.

These guys are absolutely terrible at getting back to anyone. I emailed them weeks ago to get a sign made for my company and the said they would get me a quote but never got back to me. I emailed them multiple times just asking for a quote and they couldn't respond once to an email. Very poor customer service. Maybe if they followed with anyone the review would be different.

Poor service and refused request to correct problems. HIGHLY unethical. Deliberately misled me into getting a bad deal. The Owner of this company "Ali" was asked to call me to fix the issue but Ali was so rude to me on the phone. Told me to "sue him". What owner says that. In a time like today, a person should help each other out, get business, not drive business away.
If you need signs for you company or letter anything I am warring you, DONT USE THIS COMPANY, you will regret it. I promise, I do. I will take ALI's advise and going to SUE him. UNETHICAL way of doing business. The staffs were rude too. I spoken with Lynn Martine and Janet no help, they both gave me the run around. I left them so many messages from April to June 2011 to have Ali call me back, when I finaly got Ali on the phone he was no different then his employees.
