In 1996, I began a firm called First Choice Signs under the parent firm, Buy & Sell Classifieds. It was began on a whim and within a several years, had evolved into a complete-fledged signage business. In 2001, First Choice Signs was bought out by Gannett Pacific Corporation, better known in the islands as the Honolulu Advertiser's parent firm.
